so it is dead week and for that i must write a very random posts. there are so many thoughts going on in my head right now. i think its to stop me from concentrating on the things that i really need to finish. i think my brain is trying to sabotage itself.
I need to get a totally cooler last name. Pickett and Boardman are just to plain to accomplish anything in life with. think about it... all the really great scientists and politicians and writers have names that require i double take before you can say them out loud. The lack of a really great name will be my downfall.
I have this little note book of all the books that i want to read in the future and cd's i need and movies and such, but i never have time to do really sit down and enjoy them all. its a true shame. i really need to remedy this especially while i am working at a library. i mean seriously!! who needs to buy or rent things when you can just ILS them.
I should go back to work now... but i am sure that i will have several more posts like this. its the nature of the "deadweek" beast i guess. if only naomi were here to help me build a study wall. i miss you namoi
oh wait! one last rant. it is not appropriat to send out wedding invitations just a few weeks before the day. especially if it is on a holiday!! even if people know about it. 6-8 weeks people.

Yes, study wall!! When we're back in Oklahoma I'll come visit you for finals week and help you build one.
And I've heard of couples combining their last names to make a new last name Boarkett? Pickman?
P.s. I'm pretty sure the standard for invites is something like 2 months. How do they expect people to RSVP?
