Procras-tin-ation

procrastination. i wonder if i spelled that correctly. firefox isn't telling me otherwise.

Why do I always end up here when I should be writing?!?! Right now I am working on a 10 page book review of American Unbound: The Bush Revolution in Foreign Policy by Lindsay and Daalder. It was a enjoyable book. very easy to read and not overly complex.

obviously this is the best time to write in my blog.

yesterday i finished some photo shop images of my friends. I am planning on making teeshirts, however, with my current funds i don't know when this will happen.

today i took my last entomology test before the final. i am glad this silly gen. ed. is almost over with. at the same time i can't believe the rest of my semester is almost over.

recently i have been working on my schedule for next semester. i am almost done and pretty happy with the results. I still want to make a few changes and hopefully i can get into a winter intersession class.

i also applied for two part time jobs working in the honors college. I will still be working in the library, but i think it would be nice to have some extra income, be in a different environment for part of the day, meet new people, and have more future references. go honors college. i am so glad i joined and stuck with it. I dont know if i will get either position, but if it goes well i will either work Thursday evenings from 5-11 watching over the lounge, making sure students swipe their cards, helping with computer issues, and cleaning up. the other job involves working as an office secretary during business hours answering phones and such. it seems simple enough, and i have heard that on many days you have time to study.

i found a new craft project i want to work on learning. Batik

i will leave it at that for now

Finnish Jazz

I am posting rather then working on my 10 page rough draft that is due in a few hours. oh well. There is too much school work in the world. Right now i am in my office at work listening to everyone talk about hero's. Today we research boytalk.
You know, you know what it is. Don't lie.

I guess I should go to class now! boo class. Actually i do like class.

WTF!!

I am working on this totally stupid project for my entomology class. Basically i have to come up with lesson plans for second graders. (I picked the theme myself) The point is in the WHOLE internet.... in ALL of it.... i have been searching for at least 30 minutes and have yet to find one decent live, streaming web cam of an ant or bee colony. Maybe i am just being too picky!!! I want to see the insects moving around doing their thing... a video where you can actually tell what they are doing. one that updates its picture more than ever 30 seconds (this is 2008 right?) BLAH.

If there can be a puppy cam how hard can it be to put these animals on?? I just want something that lasts longer than five minutes.

Someday i will start my own web cams of random things... because its obvious no one else has time to set up a webcam and let it capture these insects lives as the happen. gawd that has to be so difficult.

Internet you disappoint me.

WOW!!!

GOBAMA

Today was my first time to vote! It went smoothly. I had to drive home and when I got to the polling place there was no wait. I am so glad that I was a part of Obama's election and a part of this historic day!

Random thoughts
I think it is really great that America has finally elected its first African American. I may be a little biased as a Democrat (oh well).

Michelle Obama is going to be a terrific first lady! She is so smart. and seem so real. like a good mother and wife. but so accomplished at the same time.

I love how involved the public was involved in this election, especially people my age. It is totally inspiring.

Some day people while write about this evening and this election and the next presidency.

I wish i could have been in chicago! people sound so excited all around the country.

I wish that McCain could get some awesome runner-up trophy or something. I feel a little sad for him. It can't be easy to lose something you invested so much time and energy into. But the maverick put up a pretty good fight.

Sarah Palin will not be the vice president of the united states. she will not have the oppurtunity to be president!

Thank god we elected someone with some speaking skills
